A Little Bit About Kari...
I just recently graduated (wahooo!) from Berea College with a degree in Environmental Health Science and a minor in Spanish. Most of my days at Berea were spent playing softball, and I could not imagine it any other way; however, sadly, now I am an old, washed up player. I was raised the right way and spend most of my time cheering for the Atlanta Braves and eating cheese, of course, with the occasional glass of wine. After spending the summer interning in the Dominican Republic and a semester studying abroad in Costa Rica, I have fallen in love with the people, culture, and fruit of Latin America (but they can keep the rice and beans, pretty please!) These trips deepened my passion for traveling and adventure which has led me to join the Peace Corps for a 27 month volunteer stint in the country of Panama!
