So of course, today, decisions being as difficult as always, I couldn’t decide what I wanted to share. Did I want to talk about the work I am doing in site? The housing improvements I have added to my house? My Panamanian ‘family’ of fur balls? The craziness of September thus far? So guess what? You are going to get a little bit of this and a little bit of that today. And if I could have 'The Game of Love' song playing by golly I would. So just sing it in your head. Katie. Katie was a Peace Corps trainee at the time she came to visit me but by now she has become an official Peace Corps Volunteer! Part of the Peace Corps training involves spending a week with a current Peace Corps Volunteer so you can get a feel for the lifestyle, work, and sort through all of the crazy questions that are going through your head at the time. We had an amazing week full of hammock making, yummy foods aka cheese (she brought me cheese!), working with community members and even swimming in the river!
